I graduated from UCLA with my Bachelors in English and Psychology, and am currently a Computer Science Masters student at Columbia University. That being said, English is by far my favorite subject to teach. I am incredibly passionate about increasing the opportunities and accessibility of Language and Literature education. I specifically focus on essay writing, and love to help people phrase their thoughts and express themselves through language. In my experience helping students with academic papers, college applications, and written assignments, I've found that confidence often grows hand-in-hand with clarity. By guiding students through the structure and purpose behind strong writing, I help them not only strengthen their arguments but also find their voice. Whether we're breaking down a dense literary passage or brainstorming the perfect college essay hook, my goal is to make the process engaging, empowering, and even fun. I believe writing is one of the most powerful tools for self-expression and critical thinking, and I strive to foster both in every session.
In my free time, I love to visit museums, explore the outdoors, and solve crossword puzzles!
