I tutor Excel and financial modeling, with a focus on getting people up to speed with hotkeys, formulas, and advanced excel features. I've spent years working as a valuation analyst in commercial real estate, building financial models, forecasting cash flows, and cleaning up messy datasets. Along the way, I picked up VBA, AI-excel integrations, and plenty of ways to make Excel faster and more intuitive. I also spent a lot of time training coworkers and interns, which is where I realized how much I enjoy teaching.

My favorite part of tutoring is helping someone go from feeling stuck to feeling confident. Excel can be incredibly satisfying once it clickswhen you're using hotkeys, moving quickly, and solving problems without friction. That's the kind of experience I try to create for students. My teaching style is hands-on and flexible. I like to figure out where you're starting from, what you're trying to do, and build a path from there.

I earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Illinois Springfield. Outside of tutoring, I'm into history, philosophy, and hiking. I once thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail, which taught me a lot about patience and problem solving.
