As a first-generation college student and marine biology researcher, I understand how overwhelming academic life can feelespecially in the sciences. That's why I'm passionate about tutoring: I want to help students not just pass their classes, but actually understand the material and feel proud of their progress. I've mentored students through research programs, led study groups, and presented at conferences, but what I enjoy most is watching someone's confidence grow when a concept finally clicks. I'm a science lover who's just as comfortable in the lab as I am hiking a trail or trying out a new recipe in the kitchen.
