I am currently working to complete my bachelor's of science in Biochemistry at the University of Texas at Dallas. Additionally, I am obtaining my teaching certificate in 8-12 Sciences. While I am able to tutor STEM subjects, I enjoy working with students in chemistry and calculus. Both subjects have wonderful real world applications and many different ways to explain concepts. My teaching philosophy is that every student capable of learning and academic growth when finding the type of explanation that works best for them. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy gardening, baking, and reading.
