I am a rising junior at Columbia University pursuing a bachelor's degree in biology. I'm passionate about supporting students not only in mastering course material but also in building effective study habits that will serve them beyond the classroom. I tutor math, physics, and biological sciences, with a special interest in Algebra. I find that helping students develop a strong foundation in algebraic thinking lays the groundwork for success in more advanced subjects like Calculus and Physics. It's rewarding to witness the moment a concept clicks, and even more meaningful when students begin to take ownership of their learning process.
My approach to tutoring is centered around cultivating curiosity and confidence. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and pushing their intellectual boundaries. I don't just want students to earn a better gradeI want them to leave each session with a clearer sense of how to learn on their own.
In my spare time, I enjoy following track and field, playing the trumpet, and watching movies.
