Hi! My name is Candice. I am an industry professional with 6 years of experience in data.

My day-job is working as a Data Analytics Manager at a Fortune 25 company. I mentor a team of 3 analysts helping them on their career journey (this is my favorite part of my job, hence why I am here!) Our team uses SQL/Tableau/Python to provide data-backed answers for business problems. What you get with me is a well-rounded perspective, you will learn tips & tricks people in the industry uses & looks for.

As for my credentials, I have my BS & MS in Economics. I completed my MS in Econ from Georgia Institute of Technology afterwards I worked at the institute as a research associate in Health Economics. During this time, I also completed one of those Coding Bootcamps, which at the $10,000 price point I think you can get better value working with a tutor or taking a 1-off course. That said, I did learn a variety of coding languages & applications.

Math & coding did not come easy to me at first, it was something I had to work at. Since I had to work at learning these concepts, I am able to remember my mindset at that time and translate the mumbo-jumbo into digestible bites.

Just because you have to work at something doesn't mean you can't learn, it just means you need to do a few more reps than others :)
