I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies from Western Washington University and a Master's Degree in Literacy and English as a Second Language. With 25 years of teaching experience, my passion lies in helping studentsespecially English language learnersreach their fullest potential.
As the ESL teacher on my campus for the past ten years, I've had the unique opportunity to co-teach algebra and biology, bridging language and learning in powerful ways. My goal is to make challenging subjects like English, Spanish, Algebra, and Biology not just understandable, but genuinely enjoyable.

Outside of teaching, I love staying active and spending time with my family. You’ll often find me with a good book in hand, running through local trails, or enjoying quality moments with my husband and daughters. In the summer I spend as much time as possible on my paddle board. It's definitely my happy place. Whether it's exploring new stories, pushing my limits in a long run, splashing in the water, or sharing laughs with my family, these moments keep me refreshed and inspired.
