Certified Tutor

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Writing from Evangel University and a minor in Community Relief and Development. My teaching experience spans from first grade to college-level students, both domestically and internationally. I've led a class of first graders in an afterschool program and spent a month teaching English to students in grades 112 in Cambodia. These diverse experiences have strengthened my belief in the power of language education to expand opportunities and transform lives.

I am especially passionate about reading and writing. For my senior project, I authored a poetry chapbook titled See and Perceive, which reflects my deep love for creative expression and communication. I believe English education equips students with essential life skills, fosters effective communication, and opens doors to a broader understanding of the world.

My teaching style is both encouraging and challengingI strive to meet students where they are and help them push beyond their comfort zones. I aim to create a supportive learning environment that empowers students to grow academically and personally.
