Certified Tutor
Hi! I'm a passionate tutor with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Utah State University, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude. I specialize in Engineering, Robotics, Math, Science, and Python, and I've spent the past two years helping students succeed at the USU Engineering Tutoring Center.
My approach is all about clarity and confidence. I love breaking down complex problems into simple, bite-size steps that students can understand and apply intuitively. Whether we're tackling a tricky concept or debugging code, I focus on building a solid foundation and teaching students how to learn, not just memorizing equations.
I'm also a hands-on engineer who enjoys building things, 3D printing, and applying the engineering process to real-world challenges. Helping students connect difficult concepts to practical applications is one of my favorite parts of tutoring.
If you're ready to turn confusion into confidence, I'm here to help!

Undergraduate Degree: Utah State University - Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
Outside of academics, I am a relentless tinkerer. I enjoy working on cars, go-karts, and classic motorcycles. I also enjoy 3D printing, especially my own designs created in SolidWorks. The best is when they are for my personal Robotics projects (there's a reason I studied Mechanical Engineering) like a self-drawing Etch-a-Sketch or RC Hot Wheels controlled by your phone. There's lots of cool engineering challenges to be had in robotics. Another thing I really love is exploring the outdoors. I grew up riding dirt bikes and love going on "adventure rides." Our longest was from Utah's northern border (Idaho) to it's southern (Arizona) over 3 days. I've also recently taken up Gravel Cycling. I like to try and get on Strava segment leaderboards, but I usually just end up very out of breath. In the summer, there's not much better than lake days. I love being on the water, especially wakeboarding. Legend has it I can land a backflip... most of the time, anyway.
