Certified Tutor

I am a proud public school educator in Arkansas, where I've lived my entire life. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Relations, a Master of Education, and am currently completing a graduate certificate in Educational Leadership. My professional journey began in the corporate world, where I spent nearly 15 years leading an international team in the insurance industry. Ultimately, I chose to follow my true passion: education.

I have extensive tutoring experience in several subjects across all grade levels and ages, and I'm certified in both Social Studies and English Language Arts through the state of Arkansas and currently teach high school English to both freshmen and seniors. My approach to education centers on helping students discover their unique gifts and strengths by making learning engaging, meaningful, and connected to everyday life. I've seen firsthand the lasting impact a caring, passionate educator can have, and I strive to bring that same encouragement and energy to every student I support.

Outside of the classroom, I've been a lifelong musician and continue to teach both guitar and drum lessons. I also enjoy running, performing in several bands, and spending time with my family.
