I am a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and completed my Master's Degree at William Carey University. My degrees are in Elementary Education. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher in the area of Literacy: Reading-Language Arts/Early and Middle Childhood. I have 26 years of teaching/education experience in grades K-6th. I have taught all subject areas and currently work as a Reading Instructional Interventionist. I have also worked as a private tutor in all subject areas. Reading is my favorite activity and it is my passion to promote a love of reading in all age groups. I absolutely love what I do and the joy of seeing the "light bulb" moments that teaching provides!
