I'm Ms. H and my passion has always been helping kids learn! So far I've been working with 5-13 year old's of various levels from beginner to advanced. I am experienced in teaching 3rd grade in a self-contained environment for two years, 5th grade self-contained for three years, 5th grade math departmentalized for one year, 6th grade math departmentalized for one year, and then 5th grade math summer school June of 2022. My students' consistent high scores demonstrate the effectiveness of my teaching strategies. I went above and beyond offering tutoring after school year after year to help struggling learners as well. I have the ability to adapt my teaching method in order to fit the needs of the learner. Problem solving is another skill that is crucial to being a good teacher. I have learned through experience that there is always more than one way to solve a problem. I have taught ongoing classes and homework test prep help as well. I help however I can. Currently I only have prepared tutoring materials for grades 1-3 but am working towards 4-5 so I can provide tutorials for grades 1-3 currently.
