I'm passionate about helping students because I understand how transformative a strong support system can be in academic success and personal growth. While earning my Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Florida, I've had the opportunity to mentor peers and guide students through challenging coursework. My tutoring experience has primarily focused on biology, chemistry, and nutrition subjects I've excelled in and genuinely enjoy. I especially love tutoring biology because I find it fascinating how interconnected and precise the systems of the human body are, which directly ties into my future in dentistry. This fall, I'll be attending the University of Florida College of Dentistry, a goal I've pursued with dedication through shadowing, volunteering, and service in dental clinics. My teaching philosophy centers on patience, encouragement, and adapting to each student's learning style to foster confidence and competence. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel safe asking questions and motivated to push their limits. Outside of academics, I enjoy fishing and connecting with nature activities that have taught me patience and communication skills. I believe tutoring is not just about improving grades but also empowering students with skills and self-belief that will carry them far beyond the classroom.
