As a current professor and nurse practitioner, I have dedicated my career to educating and mentoring the next generation of nurses. My passion for helping students stems from my own academic journey one that was filled with dedicated mentors who saw potential in me, challenged me to grow, and helped shape the educator I am today. Now, I am committed to doing the same for others.

I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Florida, where I currently teach both graduate and undergraduate nursing courses. With a strong clinical and academic foundation, I tutor all nursing subjects, though my favorites include women's health, pediatrics, and advanced clinical courses. I do not tutor statistics or mental health nursing, as I believe students deserve guidance from someone who not only understands the content but truly enjoys teaching it.

My tutoring philosophy centers around creating a supportive and interactive learning environment. I focus on simplifying complex concepts, building confidence, and encouraging critical thinking. I adapt my approach to fit each student's learning style, ensuring they feel seen, heard, and empowered to succeed.

Outside of academia, I find joy in traveling, cooking, and cheering on my children at their cheerleading competitions and baseball games. These personal experiences help me stay grounded and bring balance to my professional life. I truly enjoy connecting with studentsboth as learners and as individuals and am excited to support them on their path to success.
