I am a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, where I earned my BFA in Motion Media Design. With nearly a decade of professional experience, I specialize in motion design, combining animation, graphic design, illustration, and videography into one powerful creative medium. My love for animation began the moment I completed my first After Effects project: I was hooked by the rhythm, flow, and visual choreography that reminded me of my dance background. For me, animation is movement with meaning, and I love helping students discover that magic for themselves.

I've taught and mentored across all ages, from leading dance classes for preschoolers and art lessons for elementary students to mentoring young designers during my time at Cosmopolitan Magazine. I believe in a hands-on, collaborative approach that's tailored to each student's interests and goals. Whether we're diving into animation for the first time or refining a creative portfolio, I prioritize project-based learning that builds confidence and encourages creative exploration.

Subjects I tutor include animation, motion design, design fundamentals, and creative software like After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Motion design is my favorite to teach because it brings together storytelling, visual art, and technology, and seeing students light up when they make their first animation move is incredibly rewarding. I strive to create an inspiring, supportive environment for my students full of creativity, honest feedback, and a genuine love of learning.
