Charlotte: Delaware County tutor
Certified Tutor
I love helping students build confidence and discover that learning can be both meaningful and fun. Over the years, I've had the joy of teaching students in grades 2 through 5, and I especially enjoy working with those in the middle grades. I'm passionate about helping kids grow their love for math and science by making challenging topics feel approachable, engaging, and even exciting.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the College of the Holy Cross and a Master's in Elementary Education from Sacred Heart University. I'm currently completing a second Master's degree in Special Education at the University of Hartford. This background allows me to support a wide range of learners with different needs and learning styles.
I tutor a variety of subjects including reading, writing, math, science, and social studies, but math and science are where I find the most joy. I love helping students see the "why" behind the work, and I tailor my approach to fit how each student learns best. My sessions are interactive, supportive, and always focused on helping students feel successful.
When I'm not teaching or tutoring, I enjoy gardening, reading, paddleboarding, and spending time with my sweet dog, Daisy. She's always working on new tricks and loves to keep me on my toes!
