Certified Tutor
I am a graduate from King School in Stamford Connecticut, and I am pursuing a 5 year Engineering and Art dual degree at Lehigh University. I am currently on deferred enrollment to Lehigh University to enrich my education, and pursue math independently of my collegiate career. I have studied calculus 1 and calculus 2 during this time at Sacred Heart University and University of Connecticut respectively. In addition, I have completed 5 AP courses at King School. I have been a tutor to members of my family, helping my brothers during a very difficult geometry class. Outside of my close family, I have been a camp counselor for animation, a role which required me to monitor and have much one-on-one teaching time with students from 8th to 11th grade.
I primarily tutor math subjects such as Geometry, pre-Algebra, Algebra, pre-Calculus and Calculus. I am well versed in other STEM subjects as well, and can provide instruction in those subjects. Math is one of my favorite subjects, but I don't believe in sugar coating the difficulties of learning it. Math can be complicated, frustrating, and hard to understand at its worst. However, when math "clicks", it becomes a very fun subject. Being tutored in Math myself, I would like to help other people "get" math in the same way I did.
In addition to math, I have experience reading and analyzing many literary genres, and can assist in essay writing and text analysis for symbolism.
