As a tutor and speech pathologist, I believe in progress not perfection. Many students stress about getting things perfect. Then because they are stressed they cannot focus. I bring levity and focus to connect to our goals.
I have taught preschool special education to age 22 special education. I have taught adult ESL and adult GED classes, in the span of 33 years.
My goal is focused learning to achieve what YOU want to learn, not what I think you should know. I give students aged 10 and up options of goals because when there is investment, there is progress.

I enjoy reading and learning languages. Currently, I am studying Arabic, Spanish and French. I like to cook, bake and sew. And when I am completely clueless as to what to do next, I pick up crochet needles. Oh, PS, I'm not very goal at any of those things, but, progress, not perfection.
