Natosha: Council Bluffs tutor
Certified Tutor
I have ALWAYS wanted to teach. I come from a long line of educators and even when we fight the call to teach in my family we still end up working in education. My passion stems from wanting to help the generation behind me. I have never forgotten the good and challenging teachers I had. I feel as though I absorbed the discarded what I needed to from them and used it to bring excitement into the learning environment for my students.
I started teaching piano lessons at the age of 14 and since then have spent my time working with children in some educational setting. I have provided early interventions for children that were developmentally delayed, taught grades 3 to 8, been the director of a dropout prevention program and tutored those students that were trying to graduate. I have an abundance of experience working with all grade levels and subjects.
I can tutor in any subjects from elementary to 8th grade. I enjoy them all and showing students how they can connect the information. I am certified to work with students in grades PK-8 and those that have learning differences through high school.
My philosophy on education is everyone can learn. I just have to figure out how to make the connection between what you know and what you need to know. Together we can do it.
