Certified Tutor

I am a passionate educator and lifelong learner, dedicated to meeting students where they are at and utilizing their strengths to find academic and personal success. I hold a graduate degree from Southeastern University in Exceptional Student Education. I am certified to teach K-12 ESE, elementary education, and Middle grades Social Studies. I have worked with students from kindergarten to adult education and almost everything in between. Some of my experiences include working with students with ASD, dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, SLDs, and other academic and social-emotional differences. I have taught all subjects but hold an endorsement in Reading and enjoy teaching math skills up to Pre-Algebra. I also have experience in executive functioning and academic coaching. My teaching philosophy is all about creating individualized education and using what a student is good at to help them overcome their areas of challenge. When I am not teaching/tutoring, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, being outside (especially at the beach), and in the fall, watching college football.
