I am a graduate of Parson School of Design with an A.A.S. degree in Graphic Design. I also have a B.A. in Art History from the State University of New York (SUNY), College at Oneonta. After 12 years in a sales career selling custom printed products, I decided to return to school and re-train as a graphic designer, Graphics are my first love, and, fortunately, I have been doing graphic design work ever since. Nearly 25 years! I love design, and I am passionate about it. I have an excellent knowledge of good aesthetic design principles, page layout, color, and typography. I taught 'Introduction to Graphic Design' at Passaic County Community College in New Jersey for a year, and I have also taught sports such as sailing and skiing to both adults and children.
My current job is as a graphic designer at a non-profit organization. I do creative design work for print, social media, and websites. Prior to this job, I worked as a production artist doing page layout for high school text books for six years. I know the Adobe Adobe Creative Suite, and I have advanced levels of skill in the Adobe most specifically in PhotoShop, Illustrator, and InDesign. In addition, to working as a designer, I have done WordPress website development for a number non-profit organizations and ski clubs to which I belong.
