Education has been a passion of mine for the last 10 years! I received my bachelors degree from Florida Gulf Coast University and my Masters in Education from American College of Education. I graduated with high honors, receiving a 4.0 gpa. I have taught kindergarten and fourth grade as well as being a tutor for all elementary grades! I have taught summer VPK for the past 9 years! I am currently an administrator at an Elementary School in Florida. I have served on the Florida State Standards Setting Panel. Education is a passion of mine and it sparked at a very young age. I love getting to the root cause of the gap students have as well as pushing students to be as successful as they can possibly be! I love when the lightbulb comes on for a student and everything finally clicks, it's truly remarkable to be able to play a role in that! I currently am an elementary school dean but my passion is all elementary aged students. I have been a teacher mentor for new teachers as well. I enjoy reading, going for walks with my two dogs, a Labrador retriever named Gracie and a dachshund named Oaklie. I consider myself an adventurer and I'm always looking for something to get into.
