Certified Tutor
Becoming an EMT has been one of the most important experiences in my life. It taught me how to stay calm in high-pressure situations, think quickly, and most importantly, how to be there for people when they need help. I'm excited to tutor aspiring EMTs because I know how challenging the training can be, and I want to help students feel confident and prepared - not just to pass a test, but to step into the field ready to make a difference.
I've responded to over 280 emergency calls as a volunteer EMT and have experience teaching BLS CPR and Stop the Bleed. I've also been part of a tactical emergency care course and worked on medical research focused on pediatric emergency care. These experiences have given me a strong foundation in both the practical and academic sides of EMS.
When I tutor, I focus on keeping things simple, clear, and practical. I like to break down complicated topics, connect them to real situations, and make sure students really understand why things are done a certain way.
I'm currently a Neuroscience major at Vanderbilt University and a member of Army ROTC. Outside of school, I stay involved in EMS and volunteer work. Tutoring is a way for me to support others on the same path I'm on, and I really enjoy helping students get ready for a career in emergency medicine.

Outside of academics and EMS, I’m working toward my Private Pilot License, which has been a great challenge and an exciting way to build focus and discipline. I also enjoy being part of my university’s ROTC program and trap and skeet shooting club.
