My name is Renee and I'm an undergraduate student at Barnard College of Columbia University studying English and Sociology. I have three years of experience as a copy edior and three years of English and writing coursework experience. I also have over a year of experience working at my campus writing center, where I collaborate with writers from a wide variety of academic fields and experience levels. Last summer, I worked with K-12 kids as an Intern at a local non-profit providing free youth classes, tours, and volunteer opportunities.

Writingespecially essay writingcan be a challenging and stressful process because there's often no "right" answer. I firmly believe, however, that anyone and everyone can learn to enjoy writing, even if you don't feel like you're good at it!

Alongside my academic and work committments, I enjoy reading, film, theater, and gardening.
