Hi there! I'm Lauren, a passionate educator with a background in music education and instructional design with a Bachelor of Music Education from Stetson University. With experience as a percussion coordinator, music educator, and instructional designer (and a deep love for teaching), I specialize in making learning engaging, interactive, and tailored to each student's needs. I have a passion for the arts and creating impactful, meaningful experiences.
Some of my professional achievements include teaching a 3 time WGI World Championship finalist group, helping various lessons students get into college, and helping a student win the GMEA composition competition. I continue my personal development as a musician and educator by attending education conferences such as GMEA and participating in performing ensembles such as the Atlanta Percussion Ensemble.
Whether it's breaking down complex concepts, sparking curiosity, or finding creative ways to reinforce material, I'm here to help students build confidence and master their subjects!

When I'm not teaching, you can find me jamming out on percussion, exploring the latest in instructional design, or hanging out with my two amazing dogs. Music has been a lifelong passion, and I love sharing that enthusiasm with my students. Outside of work, I’m also a proud mom, always on the lookout for fun, hands-on learning experiences—whether for my students or my little one!
