As a Student Teaching Assistant in college, I was fortunate to be able to work with students from many different backgrounds, giving me broad experience in seeing things from multiple perspectives. I believe that being able to understand a student's perspective is the single most important skill a teacher of any kind can have. This has served me well while teaching physics, math, programming, and in my personal life when teaching Origami and papermaking classes.
