Certified Tutor

I am an experienced ESL educator and reading and writing tutor with over eleven years of experience teaching diverse age groups. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and Literature from St. Lawrence University and have dedicated my career to fostering language acquisition, cultural competency, and academic success in multilingual learning environments.

Since beginning my teaching journey, I have worked internationally and domestically, teaching children from America, China, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, and the Czech Republic. I have also coached adults in language fluency and pronunciation and designed engaging curricula for early learners. My work has included roles in kindergarten ESL instruction, online and in-person language education, and curriculum development tailored to diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. I specialize in play-based and universal design learning strategies, ensuring that students of all ages and proficiency levels develop confidence and fluency in English.

I am passionate about integrating literacy development, writing skills, and grammatical conventions into my instruction. I believe that education is a powerful tool for empowerment, and I strive to create engaging, inclusive, and effective learning experiences for every student.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, yoga, traveling, and playing games of all kinds.
