Certified Tutor

I am currently a student at the University of Connecticut, studying Molecular and Cell Biology and Psychological Sciences in the Honors Program. Since high school, I have had many experiences in tutoring students from the Pre-K level to AP-level classes. I have worked and volunteered at several tutoring centers and have worked extensively with students at my local public school district, teaching various subjects such as Reading, Math, Algebra, Pre-calculus, AP Biology, AP Statistics, AP Calculus BC, AP Chemistry, and AP Psychology. Even though I like to tutor a wide variety of subjects, I am most passionate about teaching Math, Biology, and Chemistry. Through my various tutoring experiences, I have learned that my strengths lie in tutoring STEM-related courses, as my students tend to be most successful in these subjects. I believe that education is a two-way street and learning can happen from anyone at any time. As I impart knowledge to others, I hope to gain new insights, perspectives, and understanding from my students. During my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my friends, watching various TV shows, and traveling around the world.
