Certified Tutor
Currently, I work as a college-level Biology tutor at a Univerity, where I assist students in courses such as General Biology, and Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II. I have also completed both college-level Physics 1 and Physics 2, earning a 99 in Physics 1 and a 95 in Physics 2. I understand how difficult these courses can be an am highly confident in my ability to tutor and teach the material. In addition to tutoring, I am deeply involved in research. I have received several grants and fellowships that have enabled me to pursue both full-time and part-time research in cardiovascular physiology. I have had the privilege of presenting my research at several conferences, including those at the Medical College of Wisconsin and the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
I am extremely passionate about learning and enjoy teaching the subjects that have had such a profound impact on my academic journey. Beyond the content, I take great joy in sharing study tools and strategies that have helped me succeed in challenging college courses. I also enjoy providing insight and advice to students who are preparing for college and eventually planning to attend PT, PA, or Medical school. The application process for these competitive programs can be daunting, and I believe that understanding what can help you stand out as an undergraduate student is essential.
In May, I will begin Physical Therapy school, and I am incredibly excited for the next step in my journey!

Undergraduate Degree: University of Wisconsin-La Crosse - Bachelor of Science, Exercise Science
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy staying active and engaging in a variety of physical activities. I’m passionate about powerlifting, where I focus on building strength and challenging myself through different lifts. I also love playing disc golf, which is a fun way to stay active outdoors. Fishing is another favorite hobby of mine, and I particularly enjoy targeting musky and bass. Additionally, I enjoy playing volleyball, which is a great way to stay social and relax after a long day of studying.
