I am a current college student working towards my Bachelor degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Northern Arizona University with the intention of becoming a Speech Language Pathology Assistant. I currently received my Associates degree December 2024 and will continue on to finish my Bachelor degree. I worked as a teacher/school aide at a K-8 elementary school. I have a great passion for school and learning which led me to want to work with children, to help them succeed in their studies. At my job as an aide I assisted with all subjects and all grades wherever the help was needed. It truly brings me so much joy, and is the most rewarding feeling. I'm open to tutoring any subject but my favorite subject is math. I was in honors math in high school and received high grades in all my courses throughout both high school and college. I was also very good at spelling. When working with kids or any individuals I try to genuinely get to know them and observe how they learn and work so I am able to accommodate each of their individual needs as everyone learns differently. Making learning fun and interactive is also one thing I've learned while working with the elementary students because they at times can easily get distracted and it's important to have them engaged and focused in their learning so they can both meet the curriculum while comprehending the material. I also make sure I am making the students feel supported, heard and seen. Relationships between students and their teachers or tutors will set the whole dynamic of learning.

Outside of the academic world in my free time I enjoy spending time and making memoires with my loved ones, baking, watching movies, listening to music and always looking for ways to evolve with myself. I truly love school and learning so I sometimes do extra school work in my free time even when it's not due yet.
