I am passionate about helping students because I believe that everyone has the potential to succeed when given the right support and encouragement. Seeing a student grasp a challenging concept and gain confidence is incredibly rewarding for me. My experience working with students spans various ages, primarily focusing on K-8 mathematics. This experience has allowed me to tailor my approach to each student's unique learning style and needs.

I received my education in a diverse setting, starting with primary public schooling and then transferring to a private high school. I pursued higher education at the University of Connecticut, where I majored in Allied Health Sciences. Currently, I am working towards my Allied Health degree and my nursing degree, with the goal of eventually obtaining my nurse anesthetist degree.

In my tutoring, I primarily focus on K-8 mathematics, but I am also working on certifications to expand my ability to help students in other subjects. Mathematics is my favorite subject to tutor because it has always made sense to me. I find joy in the structured nature of math and the satisfaction that comes from solving problems.

My teaching philosophy centers around understanding where each student struggles and identifying their best method of learning. This approach allows me to explain concepts in ways that resonate with them, enhancing their understanding and confidence.
