Certified Tutor

I am a 3rd-year middle school mathematics teacher. I am a May 2022 graduate of Georgia College & State University where I became certified to teach Middle Grades Math and ELA. In August, I received my Master of Education in Instruction from Augusta University. I am passionate about providing young learners with diverse experiences with their coursework. No child learns the same, so I ensure to tailor my instruction to meet the needs of my students. My favorite subject to tutor is mathematics. I like to employ virtual manipulatives to provide students with a visual representation of their problems which creates a deeper understanding. Scared of word problems? No worries. My approaches to tackling real-world scenarios will remove that fear. Outside of teaching and tutoring, I love to spend time with my family and shop. I am looking forward to working with you!
