I graduated from California State University Northridge, receiving my Bachelor of Arts in Radio, TV, and Film and a Master of Science in Recreation and Leisure Studies. I graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Christian Education, and from Liberty University, I received an Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am completing my final course for the Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction at Liberty University in Fall 2024. When it comes to teaching, I enjoy helping high school students transition to college. As a college instructor for first-year students, I understand and see the transition that happens. I have taught first-year or student development transition classes for over 20 years. I love helping students with study skills, time management, budgeting, Microsoft Word, Academic coaching, and leadership development. My tutoring style is to help meet the students' needs and help them stretch. I have done this with individuals I coached and tutored, with student organizations I advised, and when I taught classes. Growing up as a military brat and later military spouse, my passion for traveling and exploring the world continues to grow. I love cruising and exploring the world during my downtime.
