I graduated from the Theatre Arts Conservatory at SUNY Purchase college with a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Writing. In the decade since, I've had numerous creative works published in literary magazines as well as enjoyed a successful career as a Marketing Copywriter. My passion, however, has always been in academia. I enjoy helping to navigate my students through the literary landscape by fortifying their foundations in literacy, providing insight and encouraging understanding.I approach each subject with equal enthusiasm, creating excitement around challenging tasks whether it be working on persuasive essays, studying for standardized tests, or finding the missing link that makes certain topics click.. I firmly believe that positive reinforcement is the cornerstone to academic success, always celebrating each milestone with my students no matter how big or small. In my spare time, you can catch me reading sci-fi / fantasy books, collecting vinyl records, and hunting for antiques.
