I am a dedicated educator with a Bachelor's in Bilingual Education from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and extensive teaching experience. My background includes student teaching, tutoring, and working with diverse student groups, which has equipped me to create inclusive and engaging learning environments. My teaching philosophy focuses on making learning dynamic and relevant by incorporating hands-on activities and real-world connections. I strive to inspire students to develop a love for learning and build essential critical thinking skills. Participating in the UTRGV Teacher Residency Program at Las Yescas Elementary was a significant highlight of my career. This experience allowed me to design and implement lesson plans, engage in meaningful classroom instruction, and collaborate closely with mentors. It reinforced my commitment to personalized student support and professional growth. I am excited to bring my passion and experience to a new role where I can contribute to a vibrant school community and support students in reaching their full potential.
