With over 30 years of experience in education, including roles as an elementary school teacher and middle school guidance chairperson, I am passionate about fostering student growth and success. I hold a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Towson University, which has equipped me with the skills to connect with students on a personal level. My tutoring experience spans more than ten years, primarily focusing on elementary and middle school math and reading, including Pre-Algebra. I believe in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment, utilizing humor, patience, and positive reinforcement to motivate students. My goal is to help them achieve their academic objectives while instilling a love for learning. Throughout my career, I have enjoyed working with diverse student populations, particularly those facing challenges, and I am committed to guiding them toward their "light bulb" moments in understanding math and reading concepts.
