Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Western Governors University. I received my Master of Science in Information Security and Information Assurance with a special focus on network analysis and security. Since graduation, and in my professional work experience I have mentored and tutored many colleagues as students in various topics related to Computer Networking. In my experience helping struggling colleagues and students prepare on the job tasks in areas of knowledge where there was a gap in fundamental subject matter pertaining to working network professional environment and infrastructure. I have possessed the CompTIA Network+ certification since 2009 and stay current by maintaining my knowledge concerning computer networking. I believe that the fundamentals taught to achieve the CompTIA Network+ certification are an essential foundation for a career involving computer networking. During my spare time I enjoy motorcycle riding, hiking and walking my dog, and playing folk music using traditional instruments such as Irish Bouzouki, Tin Whistle and Practice Chanter.
