Certified Tutor

I graduated from the University of Richmond with a degree in Political Science and Chinese Studies, as well as an English minor. During my college career, I traveled abroad to teach English to elementary students and adults (in Cartagena, Colombia), as well as to continue learning Chinese language in China and Taiwan. After returning to the U.S., I taught Mandarin Chinese at the high school level in Washington, D.C. I firmly believe in language learning as a path to both personal enrichment and cross-cultural understanding. I also believe in being a lifelong learner, and love to get students as excited as I am about what I teach!
