I am very happy with our experience so far with Varsity Tutors. They matched my daughter with reading specialist Mary and she is wonderful! My 10 year old daughter feels happy after her sessions and believes her tutor has already helped her.

As an ex-Computer Science and Technology grad D/O, I have realized and broken through the restraints of the memory world of previous generation traditions. I waltz into the world of tutoring by chance when I had an excellent workshop on creating VR Games with Unity, where they were going to provide a presentation to the nearest schools, and I tagged along as a volunteer. Realizing how this was a dormant part of me since my school days when I used to take over junior classes of teachers who used to be absent for the day, all because I had gained recognition from the Head of the Institution as I was the music assistant of the school club directly under the music coach. While I tutored a broad range of subjects,

I am most passionate about English, Literature, Science, Mathematics and Music. In my experience, helping students, whether they are struggling or not, to prepare for Standardized (and boring) tests, always seems to be the most fun, since I interact with them on an interpersonal level, without shadowing them with unnecessary workload and projects. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be necessary for an improved quality of life, but only for the part where it's fun and deemed important. After all, I have yet to figure out where and when am I going to apply the formula of Trigonometry in MY fields of Interests. I impart my students with those qualities and talents that are useful in the long run, instead of just a couple of papers that will be rotting in dusty files in a couple of years. I am also very lazy, for the context where they say, the laziest people will find the easiest way to do a job. What I add, is optimization to the ease. Without making it too taxing on a student, I adhere to their learning capabilities, and needs and garnish them with the perfect add-ons they need. In my spare time, I enjoy reading novels which enriches my vocabulary and reading speed, I play the piano being an avid lover of music, Write Fan Fictions (I love Harry Potter), and enjoy Swimming.
