Throughout High School I was able to easily understand math, until I got to Precalculus and Calculus (the reason I don't tutor those subjects). Those classes made me feel frustrated and disappointed with myself, and at points, seemed incomprehensible. Despite that I was still able to receive a "C" in both classes and receive college credit for those classes by being enrolled at both my high school and Rio Salado College. I graduated with two degrees, an Associate's in Arts and an Associate's in General Studies. After Graduating, I took a gap year, where I would search for ways to keep the math knowledge I had attained. I still enjoyed math and had way too much time to think, so I started making connections to things with math. During this time, an entire school year passed and during it, I was given the chance to help my younger siblings with their math homework. Through that experience I learned that I enjoyed explaining math and bringing my understanding to others. This has led me to begin tutoring. I hope to make math less esoteric by connecting to topics that a student understands well. I understand that math can seem incomprehensible at times, however it is always based on logic, and fitting that logic to the student's is the goal. In the near future I will be attending Arizona State university and pursuing a degree in Data Science. I shall have to reface calculus, and eventually calculus 2 and 3, which should increase my understanding of math.

Other than math, I enjoy video games, 80's movies and cartoons, and RPGs. I grew up with all three being introduced to Mario Bros., Sonic, Voltron, Thunder Cats, role-playing, and war games from a very young. On the weekends I play DnD with a friend group.
