Before starting my teaching career through an alternative certification, I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Criminal Justice. These degrees have given me a comprehensive understanding of behavioral and learning challenges.
I have 21 years of teaching experience in Texas and hold certifications as a Generalist for EC-6th and in Special Education for PK-12, specializing in helping students with learning disabilities, ADHD, and other unique needs.
My tutoring is customized for each student, combining traditional teaching methods with innovative techniques to help overcome learning barriers and enhance educational outcomes.
I have a particular passion for teaching math because it fosters critical problem-solving skills essential for students with special educational needs.

When I'm not teaching, I love to immerse myself in nature through hiking and capture the beauty of the outdoors with my photography. Family is deeply important to me, and I cherish every moment spent with loved ones. I'm also looking forward to a very special moment this September, as I will be welcoming my first grandchild.
