My name is Shruti Patel, and I hold a master's degree in mathematics from MS University. With over 17 years of teaching experience in Virginia, I have successfully guided students from middle school through high school, covering a range of subjects including IB Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a supportive learning environment where students can explore real-life applications of math, helping them to build confidence and discover their potential. I take pride in my ability to accommodate diverse learning styles, particularly for Special Education students, achieving a consistent SOL pass rate of over 90%. Beyond the classroom, I am dedicated to tutoring and providing individual support, often staying after school to ensure my students have the resources they need to succeed. My passion for teaching extends beyond mathematics; I also enjoy sharing my knowledge of Hindi and Sanskrit, and I am skilled in basic computer applications. I am excited about the opportunity to continue making a positive impact in students' lives through tutoring.
