Knowledge is power. I am an adult/gero nurse practitioner with 7+ years of experience in physical medicine and rehab and interventional pain. I am currently a hematology/oncology nurse practitioner. I also have a background in med/surg, bariatrics, GI/GU, home health, and hospice as an RN. After receiving my ADN from Northwest Community College, I entered the ADN-MSN program at the University of MS Medical Center where I graduated in 2017. I am currently studying to obtain my AOCNP. After achieving that goal, I plan to enter the DNP program at UMMC. I have tutored RN students over the last several years. I am interested in helping nursing students obtain their degrees, study for NCLEX, and help tutor those obtaining advanced degrees in adult/gero. When I am not working, I enjoy the outdoors with my children and fur babies, reading, and painting.
