My passion for helping students stems from a deep-seated belief in the transformative power of education. Having worked extensively with students in various capacities over 5-years, from a Volunteer Tutor at United for Literacy teaching humanities to disadvantaged youth, an Academic Coach at Woodsworth College for incoming and first year students, to a Private Tutor with Varsity Tutors. I have witnessed firsthand the profound impact that guidance and support can have on a student's academic journey and personal growth.
I hold an Honours Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction from the University of Toronto, specializing in Philosophy with minors in Classical History and Religion. My academic achievements have been recognized through various merit-based awards and leadership honors.
I have also earned a Certificate in French Oral Communication from Vanier College in Montreal, and a Certificate in U.S. Political Institutions: Congress, Presidency, Courts, and Bureaucracy from Harvard University.
Professionally, I have been trained by the Legislative Assembly of Ontario in interview techniques and public speaking skills, heading various public relations initiatives and teaching students in the prestigious Page Program. Additionally, I have received training in ADHD coping strategies and effective study habits through Accessibility Services at the University of Toronto and The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). As well as currently being employed as a Legal Clerk, in a mid-sized commercial litigation firm, where I specialize in legal writing and drafting, civil litigation procedure and legal reasoning and logic.
Throughout my tutoring experience, I have had the privilege of assisting students from elementary level to adult learners in a range of subjects, such as English, College & University Admissions, Reading Comprehension, Writing, Public Speaking, Interview Skills, Criminology, Philosophy, U.S. Government, Creative Writing, World History, University Time Management & Effective Study Habits and Phonetics. With a particular fondness for philosophy, classical history and English I am considered an expert in essay writing, academic coaching and English. However, philosophy is my favourite subject to tutor because it encourages critical thinking and the exploration of profound questions about existence, morality, and knowledge.
My teaching revolves around fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions and engage deeply with the material, improving students confidence with only one session. I strive to tailor my tutoring style to each student's unique needs, focusing on building their confidence and autonomy as learners. While maintaining consistent communication with parents and providing comprehensive summaries of each session made available to students and parents alike.
Outside of academia, I am actively involved in various community service roles and enjoy participating in leadership activities. I am also currently preparing for a career in law, working towards specializing in Constitutional Law and Civil Litigation. While also owning and operating a consulting small business providing legal-style documents and resume services to companies and individuals. These experiences enrich my perspective and enhance my ability to connect with individuals from all walks of life. My goal is to inspire and equip students to reach their full potential, both academically and personally.

I have a diverse array of interests and hobbies that keep me engaged and inspired. A significant part of my time is dedicated to community service and volunteerism, where I have the opportunity to give back and make a positive impact. Volunteering with organizations like the St. Vincent de Paul Society and Woodsworth College Orientation has been particularly fulfilling. These roles allow me to support and guide individuals, contributing to their growth and development. In my daily life, I enjoy applying my education in meaningful ways. Whether it’s engaging in thoughtful discussions with friends or approaching everyday challenges with a philosophical mindset, I find that my academic background enhances my understanding and perspective. This practical application of knowledge helps me navigate various aspects of life with a more informed and reflective approach. In my leisure time, I find joy in reading books, which not only expands my knowledge but also offers a relaxing escape into different worlds and ideas. Weightlifting is another favourite pastime, allowing me to stay active, build strength, and find a sense of accomplishment through physical fitness. Additionally, I cherish moments spent with friends, whether it’s engaging in meaningful conversations, exploring new places, or simply enjoying each other's company.
