As a dedicated tutor, my passion for helping students stems from a profound belief in the transformative power of education. Witnessing the 'aha' moments when students grasp complex concepts or overcome academic challenges ignites a deep sense of fulfillment within me. I am motivated by the opportunity to empower individuals to reach their full potential and achieve their academic goals.
My journey in working with students has been diverse and rewarding. From being a swim instructor to serving as a peer mentor during my undergraduate years, I have gained invaluable experience in tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each student. Whether it's clarifying concepts, providing study strategies, or offering encouragement, I strive to create a supportive and enriching learning environment.
I am a North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University alum. I got my degree in Biology in spring 2024. My overall goal is to deliver babies. I am also a certified labor support doula. In my tutoring practice, I specialize in Organic Chemistry, drawing from my academic background and experience. This subject happens to be my favorite to tutor. Whether delving into the intricacies of mechanisms or exploring the nuances of assigned literature, I find joy in fostering curiosity and critical thinking in my students.
My teaching philosophy revolves around fostering a growth mindset and cultivating a deep understanding of the material.
