Certified Tutor

I am a undergraduate senior at Benedict College. I will be receiving my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Child/Family Development in May of this year (2024). During my time in undergrad, I have been working as a kindergarten teacher assistant at the Boys & Girls Club of the Midlands in Columbia, South Carolina; and I have participated in 2 summer research programs where I have worked with a diverse group of elementary school-aged children in school settings to provide the best educational experience. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Mathematics, Reading, and Writing. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for the transition to middle school and beyond has became something that I find rewarding. I believe it is important for elementary school students to have a strong foundation of the basics of educational subjects that can assist them to become amazing in their future career paths. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students.
