Certified Tutor

I am an Oxford graduate with a first degree in Physics. I then gained a D. Phil in Theoretical Physics from Sussex University. After some years in post-doctoral research I taught Physics and Maths in further education and on a foundation course at Lancaster University.

In teaching, I like share my enthusiasm for Physics and Mathematics with students. I try to foster understanding rather than relying on rote learning. I encourage students to ask questions and will always try to find alternative explanations or examples if something isn't understood first time.
