I am a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science Elementary Education K 6. Since I graduated, I have taught in Indiana, Florida, Mississippi and New York. For the past three years I have tutored in person as well as over video chat. I believe my experiences have helped me progress to the point of working here! It is thrilling to have a student grasp a concept that they have been working with! Over the course of the past years, I have taught 5th grade, 3rd grade, 1st grade and Kindergarten. My favorite content area is Language Arts, specifically Reading. I feel if a student can excel at Reading, the possibility of being able to master Science, Social Studies and even Math increases significantly! No matter where I meet with students, I bring passion, persistence, and joy to the table! Learning needs to be enjoyable! When I am not working with students, I love to read with a good cup of coffee, hike with my dogs, or visit with my friends!
