I have worked in middle school math and science for 15+ years and was recognized as Teacher of the Year 2018. I teach 8th grade math, and high school science. I also tutor select students for our math standardized testing based on their diagnostic results. Covid has left gaps in most students math skills that can be filled through tutoring. I believe that every student can rise to higher expectations and that as an educator, it is my responsibility to help them reach their full potential.
I have a master's degree in gifted & talented education, special education K-12, middle grades math, and high school science.

I love to travel! There is so much to learn in our world. Traveling allows me to experience different cultures, environments, and to see our world in a different light. When not traveling, I love to do crafts, specifically, floral design, painting and crotchet.
