Ever since I was a little kid, I have loved numbers. It has always been something that has come naturally to me, and something I have always wanted to use in my future career.

While in elementary school, I noticed that I had another love also: helping people. For years, I volunteered with Challenger, an organization that assists kids with mental disabilities. Every Sunday, we would go to our local baseball fields, and help the children play America's game, while gaining friendships along the way.

From 2014-2017, I worked over the winter and summer breaks at the Lighthouse of Houston, assisting in the activities and events involving children and adults whom are visually impaired. Through this job, I learned that I also want to help people in my future career.

This is why I feel that teaching Math is perfect for me. It caters to the two things I am very passionate about: Numbers, and helping others. I am motivated, hardworking, and thrive in fast adapting roles.
